    Raymond was born on June 15, 1918 to Edward and Martha Missling in their home at Good Thunder, Blue Earth County. He attended country schools and worked on the family farm.
    On December 5, 1939, Raymond was united in marriage with Mavis Winifred Polzin at Jeffers. They moved to the Hewitt community 63 years ago and Ray spent most of his life doing what he loved mostfarming and taking care of his cows.
    Raymond was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Martha; brothers, Erwin, Lloyd and Glenn; and granddaughter, Dena Missling.
    He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Mavis; sons, Vernelle of Menahga and Robert of Wadena; daughters, Janice Larson of New Prague and Karen Grewe of Bertha; 10 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and a niece in Edina and nephew in Minnetonka.
    Honorary pallbearers were Vernelle Missling, Robert Missling, Tim Larson, Mark Grewe, Joel Grewe and Tony Missling.

Esther was born on January 3, 1910 in Charlestown Township, Redwood County to Henry and Agusta (Trapp) Hohman. She gew up on the family farm, was baptized and confirmed at Zion Lutheran Church in Sanborn and attended Zion Lutheran Schoo. Esther worked at Dietz Grocery Store in Sanborn prior to her marriage. On June 14, 1934 she married Marvin Pankonin at Zion Lutheran Church in Sanborn. The couple made their home on a garm in Germantown Township where they raised their son, Darrel. They farmed for over 50 years. In 1987 the couple retired and moved into Sanborn. Esther was a member of Red Rock United Methodist church in Germantown Township, was a Sunday School teacher and enjoyed gardening, tending to the chickens, baking, especially apple pies, canning, quilting, entertaining her grandchildren and great grandchildren and visiting with friends on the telephone. Survivors includes her grandchildren - Randy and wife Kelly Pankonin of Sanborn, Jeff and wife Michelle Pankonin of Sanborn, Sue and husband Jeff Rosenstengel of Springfield, Shelly Pankonin of Sanborn; 8 great grandchildren; daughter-in-law Sharon and husband Maynard Beyer of Sanborn. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin in 1994, Darrell in 1993; great grandson Colby Pankonin in infancy; sister Rufina Beussman; brothers Art and Eldo Hohman. after 12 August 1999 at Lamberton, Redwood County, MN, USAG.1

    Darlene is survived by her husband, Andre Goldhammer; her children, Melissa O’Garth, Jonathon Goldhammer and Kate Fairchild; her seven grandchildren; her mother, Juanita Pankonin and her brothers, David Pankonin and Gary Pankonin.

    She was preceded in death by her father, LuVerne and a brother, Robert.1
